Critical Customer Care Program - If you have equipment that must be used for a health care condition, the critical care program will help ensure you have utility service to keep the medical equipment running.

New Jersey Statewide Heating Assistance and Referral for Energy Services - Temporary financial assistance can be paid to Jersey Central Power and Light customers. Funds will be used to help customers pay their monthly energy bills. This assistance program was created to help customers who would otherwise have no means of assistance in paying their utilities. There are some conditions that need to be met, including the customer must have  history of good faith utility payments in the past.

Jersey Central Power & Light Comfort Partners Program. Save money on your utility bills from this free program. Contracts can, for free, install energy conservation measures in your home.

The state of New Jersey offers the Universal Service Fund Program. This state run program in effect provides low-income customers with a dedicated payment plan to help them lower the monthly cost of their electric bills. Participants in the USF program will only need to pay a maximum percentage of their total household income for electric and natural gas bills each month, so their expenses are limited.
