Free and Discounted Heating Oil and Fuel To Help Save on Bills

Citizens Energy has a program that offers free and discounted heating oil to residents in 17 states. They work closely with CITGO and with thousands of other heating oil and fuel dealers in these 17 states. Citizens also works in cooperation with countless local fuel assistance agencies in order to provide residents either free or discounted deliveries of home heating fuel oil to those homeowners who need it. The program is called the Oil Heat Program and this year it is providing a one-time delivery of 100 gallons of home heating oil to those who are struggling with paying high heating and utility bills.

This program covers many families who may not qualify for aid under the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). The Citizens Energy Oil Heat Program is another option for those families who may be struggling with high heating and utility bills, and it helps provide them with some comfort and a bit of relief when temperatures hit that freezing mark.

The states that are supported in this program are New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Alaska, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, Indiana, Maine, Michigan, New Hampshire, Wisconsin, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, and Washington DC.
