Statewide Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program (CEAP) is a program that is run jointly between West Texas Utilities as well as local community action agencies. This is a federal government supported and funded program that can help eligible WTU Retail Energy customers pay their monthly electricity bills and ideally help prevent a disconnection of their service. There is an emergency component, as well as a way to get recurring help with paying bills going forward. Applications are accepted at, and funds are provided from, your local community action agency, so you need to call them to apply. We listed some of the main ones below. Or dial (877) 399-8939.
